This project started with one request: a new mirror for the mantel and new accents for the shelving beside it.


Since there was already an art piece there, we had to find a new place for it. Shifting art around the house, we created entirely new spaces.

We moved the custom graffiti piece from over the mantel to above the sofa in the sunroom, and we added deep blue velvet pillows in the two chairs to bring the room together.

And then we moved the dog painting from the sunroom to the stairwell. The sconces were already hanging with nothing in between them. We were immediately reminded of beautiful stairwells at Ralph Lauren stores with large pieces of art often depicting dogs or horses. When we realized that this painting not only fit a Ralph Lauren vibe, but also fit perfectly, we hung it. Result? Perfect satisfaction.
